Video (un: gr€€d)
[There's that second of shaky-cam when Mammon starts up the video and the camera focuses. Once again it's his selection of items, or rather wares: everyday items like knitting needles and typing paper, a typewriter, nail polish, a skein of yarn, something that looked like a metal lacrosse set, a blank book and a pen. There's clothing, several sets in different styles and sizes, a set of men's boots, a large fur cloak made of a single wolf-pelt. There are a few more dangerous items too, bullets and a shotgun, various knives. The camera lingers on each item for a moment, showing it off, as Mammon speaks.]
This worked out so good last time I thought I'd try it again! I'm sellin' all this stuff to anyone who's got somethin' to buy it with. There ain't a lotta cash on board so if you got none, maybe we can trade. Or ya can owe me somethin'.
Oh -- and since space is boring and I'm such a nice guy, I'm rentin' out some of my own stuff. [He pans to another set of items, grouped together on their own: a deck of playing cards, a set of dice, and a handheld game console.] Make me an offer and I'll let you take one of 'em for... I dunno, let's say a day.

I didn't actually call you stupid. And I was referring to you assuming I was cold. Do I look cold to you? [She'd spin if she thought it would help anything.]
no subject
[Lady, your clothes are designed around the Rule of Cool.] Yeah, you look really cold.
no subject
[Only when she's hunting and she's typically not cold when hunting. All that running around. Or in this case, stalking closer.] I think you should take a harder look in that case.

[He's not doing a great job of defending his territory, backing up when she advances, but he's at least keeping himself between her and his merchandise.] Either you're freezing or you ain't human, and I'm pretty sure you are.
no subject
[He's doing a terrible job and it just makes her mouth curve into a predatory smile as she keeps making him back-up.] Well I'm not cold. Get over it already.

[That's too heavily weighted in his favor since she gets the impression he can be equally stubborn and where is the fun in a bet that's a complete standstill? Wandering to the small collection of entertainment items he was offering to rent out she picks up the deck of cards before turning back to him.]
I was thinking more a game of cards for it.
no subject
What game?
no subject
[And don't think for a second that she doesn't fully expect him to name his game anyway. Though on that note is poker even really her game if her game is typically pool and they're currently lacking in the equipment for it?]

[She's lying naturally but she never said she'd actually name her game.]
no subject
Let's just keep it simple, high card wins. [The deck he offered isn't the marked deck, which he's now regretting, but he's pretty sure he can still cheat his way through this.]
no subject
Fine but Aces are low. [She stops and holds the deck so he can pull his card.]
no subject
9 of Clubs! Ehh, that ain't too bad!
no subject
Rolling her eyes she flips her card so he can see.]
Guess I owe you next planet.
no subject
Next planet you're buyin' me dinner!
no subject
If that's what you want, I get to pick the place.
no subject
Yeah, all right, but you gotta eat there too. Ya can't just send me to the grossest place and make me eat stuff you'd never touch!
no subject
[He's free to take that as he wants. But she likes annihilating and destroy her opponents. She takes a step closer.]
I'm curious how you think you'll be able to make that happen.
no subject
[He instinctively takes another step back.]
Hey, I won the bet, I'm the one who gets to make the rules here!
no subject
[That's a good sign as she takes another step a small grin forming.]
Is that what you think?
no subject
[What is this? This human is too intimidating for his liking and he gets affronted as Lady forces him back.]
Y-yeah, it is! You don't get to push me around! [Despite the fact that she is literally doing just that.]
no subject
Her grin grows a little wider. Poor baby, can't handle the big bad devil hunter backing him up again.]
I seem to be doing a very good job of it though.
no subject
You're lucky I don't eat ya, you know!
no subject
[At that her grin turns taunting. Just keep backing up Mammon the wall is so close now.]
I've told you before, I'd love to see you try.
