Hello, passengers! Hope you're all ready for an announcement, 'cause Navi's voice is getting beamed into your head right about ... now:

Attention, passengers.
We'll be docking soon at the city of New Ecrillion, on the planet Zegnolia, where we will remain for approximately three weeks, local time.
Please stand by.

From the announcement until landing, to help everyone adjust to the new environment, Navi will gift all passengers with a a faint hummed melody.

Upon docking and disembarking, passengers will find a bank counter just past the terminal, where your new windfall of Navigems can be exchanged for credits (the universal currency). Try not to spend it all in one place!

Now, go get your groove on! Just remember to take breaks to hydrate.

"A mundane taste in food?" Senku asked, blinking at the sudden question and he turned his attention to the restaurant.

"Personally, if I have a mundane taste in food, which I do, I'd pick somewhere that served my favourites, or at least is casual enough so that you get a decent portion. I'm not sure how this restaurant ranks on that scale."

Senku paused a moment. "Well, I'm not sure I'll find my favourites, but maybe."

"...I'm not sure there are any restaurants on this planet that serve egg sandwiches with Hawaiian bread. Or grilled cheese with the orange processed cheese that gets all gooey."

Lucifer looks highly skeptical.

"No, this is spectacularly unhelpful. ...I never did get to take her to the opera, maybe I should see if there's something like that here..."

"Aren't there places that make a fancier kind of grilled cheese?" Senku offered by way of a question, like he was trying to remember something. "Not too upscale but somewhere in the middle?"

"I haven't found an opera, but there does seem to be music everywhere. A concert is considered fun for most people." He suggested.

Then again, he wasn't entirely sure how he got his husband, nevermind other people's relationships. He was trying to be helpful, at least.

Lucifer scoffs. “She doesn’t like the fancy kind. She’s very particular about her grilled cheese.”

Honestly, he thought he was asking a simple question! Yes or no!

“I should consult Miss Lopez,” he says, huffy. “Maybe look for some lingerie…”

"Ah...sorry." Senku offered, scratching the back of his head. "I don't know her, so I can't really say what she'd like the best. I think these things tend to be pretty personalized so..."

He wasn't really sure about the lingerie, but again, if she would like that kind of thing, then maybe he should go for it.

"What, no universal language of romance in your reality?" Lucifer asks with a raised eyebrow. "Flowers, chocolates, candlelit dinners for two?"

"There was, not so much anymore. No places to go have dinner, to start with." Senku chuckled lightly.

"Flowers are popular though, for a wide variety of reasons." He hummed. "Although I'm not sure most of the marriages are romantic at this point. I didn't ask." Even to him, that had seemed like a rude question.

"Mine is, but it didn't include any of those things."

Lucifer looks confused for a moment, then appears to remember where he is. "Oh, right. Do you come from an apocalyptic dystopia? Or... authoritarian government? I hate it when people tell me what to do."

"The former. I'm working on it." Senku said with a bit of a wave of his hand. "It's not as bleak as that would sound, at least, not anymore, but in some ways technology is limited, in others we've managed to bring it back forward fairly far."

"Good for you," Lucifer says dismissively. "You should work on the fine dining establishments, though. I'm not sure life is worth living without good food. And liquor. And piano bars."

None of those things exist in Hell and Hell is the worst.

"Well, I've gotten some better food going with a few tricks, but our diet is incredibly restrictive due to what we can get." Senku hummed lightly.

"We do however, have liquor. Sake, wine and brandy." Senku chuckled. "I don't really know how to make a piano though."

"Well, I suppose even an apocalypse can be tolerable if you have enough liquor. Maybe," Lucifer muses. Not that he's keen for one.

"I believe a lot of people see it that way. It's not the kind of apocalypse you see in the movies, unfortunately." Senku hummed. "The actual event happened over 3700 years ago, so whatever humanity had built up worldwide at the time has completely vanished."

"Ah, so you're post post apocalypse. Society rebuilding, kind of thing, got it," Lucifer says, nodding, already attempting to slot this in with his pop culture knowledge. He's got a lot of it.

"Something like that. Not as typical in lore, if you like that kind of thing." Senku personally did. He enjoyed myths and legends, particularly the ones of ancient civilizations.

"It's not too bad, but I was very busy, so the last trip I came from and this trip is kind of interrupting."

"Well, aren't we all busy? I had a realm full of demons to manage, back in Hell," Lucifer says nonchalantly.

That sparks his interest. "A place called Hell, or the mythological place spoken of in relgious texts, or some kind of other option?"

Fortunately, due to his detour, Senku's mind was fairly open to a wide variety of possibilities.

“Yes,” Lucifer says. “Hell. Where humans go for their eternal punishment. And I rule there. Lucifer Morningstar, the Devil, Beelzebub, etc.”

"Interesting. I'm not a believer." In case that hadn't been evident by his suggestion that it was some kind of mythology. "There's nothing to suggest my world actually has a hell."

Aside from life on Earth as they knew it really. "I'm Ishigami Senku. Senku's fine." He was used to introducing himself at this point.

"Seems like a rigged system if the majority of people end up in Hell."

Lucifer shrugs. He’s never cared whether humans believe in anything in particular. Especially if they’re from different realities.

“The system in my world isn’t rigged. No one sends humans anywhere - they send themselves. Punishment or reward, it depends on what they think they deserve.”

"Really? That's interesting. Do many people believe they deserve to be punished then?" He was all too curious.

"I mean, I assume whatever religious texts existed in my world, it wouldn't matter because no one can actually know what happens after we die, but that's how humans work."

“It’s nothing to do with religious beliefs. Not usually. It’s about guilt. Have you done something in your life that you believe was truly unforgivable? Something you know, deep down, you deserve to be punished for?”

Lucifer shrugs again. “It’s both very simple and very complicated.”

Senku considered that for a moment or two. "At times, but I don't think so. I don't feel the guilt for the few things I did at the time any longer."

He shrugged slightly. "Well, if I end up in Hell, the religious people would've pegged me right."

“Maybe, maybe not,” Lucifer says dismissively. “I’ve known humans who swore up and down they had to do this or that, that they felt no guilt because it was right, and they’re in Hell for all eternity anyway.”

Like he said: both simple and complicated.

“Not that it matters here. For all I know, your reality works in a completely different way. I only know how mine works.”

"That's true too, hard to say if it works the same." Senku shrugged.

"I'm confident in the actions I take. If I have to pay consequences later, then, I'm prepared for that." He responded. The way his brow furrowed made him look a lot more serious and older than just some random 20 year old.
