Prometheus? Pandorum? Sunshine? Any of those sound familiar to anyone here? Usually when people end up in space, things get bad. Like. Bad.

[Ella's eyes go wide, and she almost screams.]

Chloe! Oh my god, where are you? I'd thought I'd never see you again. I mean, Lucifer called and said you were safe, but damn girl! Don't ever get kidnapped again! Where are you so I can hug you?!

[ In usual Ella-fashion, nothing of what she said makes sense. Chloe tilts her head and then makes a face, trying to piece it all together. In the end she waves her hands.

She gets to typing … ]

I was kidnapped? I’m in my room right now. Lucifer is coming over. I think.

Who would be dumb enough to kidnap me???

[There's a lot that Ella would agree with about someone being stupid enough to do that to Chloe like she wouldn't be found but that's not the point right now. Instead, Ella is just gonna give her bestie a rather big grin (it's definitely the hashtag deckerstar grin) and raises her thumb.]

Good! I'll talk to you guys after.

[ some hours later.............. ]

Ella? You awake?

Yeah! I’m up. I’m in the observatory.

Oh hey you got your voice back.

[devilsheel]

Oh. Nice. It is... nice there?

[ A quiet snort. ]

Uh, yeah. I guess I did. Must have been a short-term thing.

[anormie]

Yeah. It definitely reminds you you’re in space!

[devilsheel]

I bet. All the black emptiness staring you back, the stars.

[anormie]

Chlo are you scared of space?

[devilsheel]

What? Naw, no. Why — why do you ask?

[anormie]

Kinda a vibe you're putting out right now.

[devilsheel]

I'm not — [ a huff. ] Ella. Seriously. I'm not afraid of space.

Let's just. How have you been?

[anormie]

Uh.......

[Ella's not sure how she wants to answer that, but yeah.]

What's happening where you're from? Like before you were kidnapped, right? But Lucifer's back? Was super weird on a case but then is still back?

[What Ella is trying to avoid asking: Pete.]

Right... [ slowly responding, ] Yeah. Before I was kidnapped. That uh hasn't happened. Yet.

[ Another nod, slower. ]

Lucifer is back, yeah. He was 'weird' because it was his... well, he has a twin brother. Weird, right? What's happening where I'm from? [ Although she knows what she knows from Lucifer, Chloe still isn't sure how to bring it up with Ella. ] Lucifer was shot.

[anormie]

He didn't mention that it was really his twin brother! He suspected that he might have done stuff but I had no idea. But you know, had no idea about a lot of things.

[But Ella doesn't sound at all bitter.]

If it helps, I totally had no idea he'd been shot. And he was fine when I saw him after you'd been kidnapped and we thought it had been the Whisper Killer.

So uh, you were right about the Whisper Killer being a copy cat, though. Pete uh is the Whisper Killer. Nice guys, amirite?
