I wouldn’t call it a problem. There are some places around the world where they don’t have access to films or TVs or even internet to watch from. You aren’t alone.

I have been on this voyage for I believe several months now. Time is a bit difficult to track without a solar cycle to rely on.

Oh, you too? I think another has recently been stricken with something similar. We seem to be currently experiencing some anomalous activity, if the past is anything to go by it should correct itself before too terribly long. If you are concerned there is a fully stocked infirmary on board.

No solar cycle? Do you mean the sun and moon? Day and night?

There's another who can't speak? Strange. I'm not too worried about it. I mean if you say there's something going on, then maybe I can give it a few days.

Correct. Much of our time is spent traveling between worlds, leaving time a rather nebulous concept.

Occasionally Navi encounters anomalies in space that cause wide-reaching side-effects for the rest of us. While inconvenient and distressing, they do tend to resolve themselves in time. Currently certain abilities and senses seem to be going haywire. It should resolve itself in time.

Good to know. As long as it gets resolved.

Are these anomalies related to the planets or the travel between them?

I lack thorough data on the specifics, but they appear to have something to do with coming into contact with nebulas. Interference, perhaps?

Interference, that's a good term for it. Makes the most sense.

Indeed. Though, should the issue persist we may have to look into attempting to find some manner of medical care. While there is an infirmary on the ship, none are particularly qualified physicians.

Really? So then who's running the infirmary?

No one, I'm afraid.

It isn't an ideal situation. With that in mind, do try not to become gravely wounded. While I am capable of some small degree of healing it is not my specialization.

I'll try my best. Yeah? What is it you specialize in?

I am a scholar in many forms of magic. Binding and warding may be my primary fields of study but I also have a decent grasp of various elemental manipulations.

I'm still new to the whole celestial thing. I didn't realize there was magic involved. What does binding and warding involve?

[albatrossomen]

Here I must confess there are some distinct differences between those of my universe, and those of yours, so magic may or may not be a realm of study for them.

That said, precisely as the words might imply. One form to contain, and one to keep away. Protection and defense. Necessary skills when one is scholar among warriors.

Got it. Yeah, as far as I know? No magic. Just...heavenly. Beings. All that.

Definitely necessary skills to have. Do you have any celestial siblings who are also scholars or warriors? How does family work in your world with celestials?

Something that some may describe as 'magic' though I find that term doesn't quite hit the mark.

Our Creation is similar in some ways, we do consider ourselves brethren all though that term is often taken offense to by those long Fallen. Where our Creation differs from that of your universe seems to be in our design and nature. We are soldiers, and warriors primarily. Suffice it to say being the "nerd" when your entire family likes to throw a punch for entertainment has caused a fair amount of strife between us.

Who has Fallen, in your world?

A full third of the Holy Host Fell alongside Lucifer during the Rebellion. Following that, there has been an intermittent trickle here and there. And of course, one cannot forget we have since remained at war and many have been lost between the initial war and ensuing skirmishes.

While we are, presently in my time at least, at something of a ceasefire, that isn't to say hostilities have ended. Far from it.

Your two worlds are definitely different. I'm pretty sure it was only him who... "Fell". Though I haven't really asked for many details on that matter. It was a family matter, wasn't it?

Only him? Strange. While I cannot speak with certainty on the reason for your Lucifer's Fall, it's likely to parallel at least somewhat. You certainly could call it a family matter. Father has not been historically known to take being questioned with grace.

That was probably terribly blasphemous to say.

Yeah, probably was. But does it really matter in this place? Probably not.
