[Alex really doesn't normally do video posts; her medium is audio. She's still on the planet obviously, sitting with an extremely large cup of what is obviously coffee in front of her, especially if anyone has met her before. But there's something unsettled about her right now and obviously so as she fidgets. In front of her is a small electronic device similar to a phone, and clearly there's something familiar to her on it, indeed it's embossed with a familiar image and an equally familiar back inside of the logo.]
Uh, so two things. One, does anyone else think that maybe we should be worried if Navi doesn't come back soon? I mean it's weird right?
[Alex fidgets harder and bites her lip before she asks softly:]
Has anyone else found anything from their own world on one of the planets? I mean not necessarily our own worlds because I've never seen anything like whatever this recorder is, but the stuff on it? I mean, that's...
[Alex pauses and then continues.]

You were who I spent my last few days back home with. I just hadn’t gotten the chance to dump my recorder with everything. And then when I was here I didn’t want to.
And I’m at the coffee shop.

[Richard has obtained a second suit and a pair of pajamas - also a couple of books but he'll settle for his old suit which looks a little rumpled despite him moving to find her.]
...Hello Alex.
[ugh. He stares]
Can I sit? We should...talk.

[In the time that it takes him to arrive, Alex manages to order herself another coffee and him his preferred tea. There’s also a pair of brownies on the table too. ]
We should talk. Please take a seat, Richard.

[He takes another sip and stares at those brownies which are also a favorite.]
That said, I want to ask you about the recorder. Where you found it, the details of it.

There's some small petty part of her that wants to take back the brownie, but given how she knows that Richard doesn't eat when he's stressed (and how hangry he can get when he doesn't) so she just pushes it towards him without commenting on it. Getting into a fight with him about any of this is the thing that Alex wants to do the least and she can already tell that he's spoiling for one right now. But aboard Navi, there's really no where for them to run from one another which is a set of problems that Alex doesn't want to deal with. Both of them need timeouts from one another, and this environment isn't really conducive for that.
So, instead Alex focuses on the question that he asks her.]
The recorder I brought with me. I had it on me when I was taken. This [Alex lifts up the device that she'd found.] was in a big bin of music at one of the shops. I was digging through to see if I could find anything familiar. But this was in the bottom of it and I didn't find anything else from home when I looked around the rest of the shop.

[That makes him stop and bristle a bit because it's Alex's and he ignores the brownie, folding his hands.]
This Navi is gone? That's another concern. I was talking to someone named mur and he said that there was a robot of some sort here. That robot is gone?

No. I mean not unless you having it counts. I meant when I was taken from home. I literally had it in my hand.
[But Alex smiles brightly at the mention of Murmur. She can’t help it considering he’s an Angel and the reason that Alex has gotten any sleep at all. ]
Mur is great. But I confess I’m not sure what robot you mean. Navi, they are the ship.

[Richard folds his hands pointedly and stares over his glasses at her.]
I also met your...friend. Mr. Sims. He seems nice and when we escape this ship I'd be more then willing to see him returned to his world.

How the hell do you think we're going to escape, Richard? We literally have Navi wired into us.
[Alex just holds up her hand so that the glyph on the back of it is visible.]
Never mind how we're going to jump between his world and ours.
[Alex just snorts for a moment before she adds:]
And you say I'm the one with an overactive imagination.

[His eyes narrow and he pinches the bridge of his nose.]
...I understand that people are paired and that it's not personal in the way that I thought it was. But that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve protection.

And you're right, Jon does deserve protection. Everyone aboard does. But what you're talking about doing doesn't make any sense, Richard. It sounds like a suicide mission, frankly.
