Right. Everyone back to normal now? Or at least as normal as it ever gets on this floating insane asylum.
[ If Lucifer seems a little annoyed, well - he is! ]
Have I mentioned lately that I despise children? The hormonal angst was almost palpable. I could probably think of better Hell loops for myself, but not many.

Is it? Why? Give me one good reason why that would be absurd.
no subject
[ What is the reason? Uh. ]
I'm the Devil.

Is that absurd?

How opposed would you be to pretending none of that transpired?

[ He pauses for dramatic effect. ]
Yes, all forgotten.
no subject
Yes. That.
[He's not exactly proud of any of that. Nor does he entirely want to volunteer elaboration. Lucifer likely gets it, surely he's had the same disagreement with his siblings before.
Phew...]
Thank you.

...No. No, I do not believe it was deliberate. Malice is not in their nature.
[He finally stops being a weenie loser and flips the camera around to stop being impolite.]
I do have a hypothesis. I believe these anomalous events are drawn to them, in a manner similar to how the spatial tears that bring us here are. Unfortunately given how distracting these diversions are I have not yet had the opportunity to make much headway into investigating why that might be. Something to do with their psychic energy, perhaps?

And I'm glad I was immune to this one - apart from the fact that I've never been a moody adolescent, the last time I regressed too far into old habits I wound up nearly permanently going beast-mode.

[Grimace.]
Yes, that would be... troubling.
[Putting it mildly.]

[Though he would have previously been right up there with Lucifer's assumptions.]
Though reliving hormonal adolescence was not...a positive experience.

You mean to say you were just as - nay, perhaps even more - awkward as a pimply adolescent than you are as a grown man?
no subject
[His teeth grit. Awkward. Sure. But this is what happens when you are sucked into this place and...
He sighs and laughs.]
I was considerably more dramatic and obnoxious as a "pimply adolescent." and I had terrible acne so I will let that slide.

[ The lovable dumbass. ]
Are you saying you were somehow more dramatic before the whole "apocalyptic death metal concert" shenanigans?

Warn him against it I take it?
[Richard settles for a moment before nodding.] My father inspired youthful rebellion by breathing. We fought like cats and dogs and I did my best to bite back as he alternated between preparing me for adulthood and following in his footsteps as a scientist.

And I didn't warn Amenadiel against anything - I'm not the warning sort, really. He talked himself into a bout of humanity and now I've got a bouncing baby nephilim nephew.

He'll be great then. The children of fallen-the children of angels are always great people though my book of Enoch is a bit rusty. Different for you?

But given who his parents are, he'll turn out fine.
