Hello, passengers! Hope you're all ready for an announcement, 'cause Navi's voice is getting beamed into your head right about ... now:

Attention, passengers.
We'll be docking soon at the city of New Ecrillion, on the planet Zegnolia, where we will remain for approximately three weeks, local time.
Please stand by.

From the announcement until landing, to help everyone adjust to the new environment, Navi will gift all passengers with a a faint hummed melody.

Upon docking and disembarking, passengers will find a bank counter just past the terminal, where your new windfall of Navigems can be exchanged for credits (the universal currency). Try not to spend it all in one place!

Now, go get your groove on! Just remember to take breaks to hydrate.

For a moment, Persephone just meets his eyes, and they soften as she nods slowly. That feels familiar as well, and in this instant, Persephone can feel the warmth of foundries on her skin, and the glare of neon runs it's fingers against her mind's eye. Her fingers touch his face in a way that's very much motherly, and her voice has soft twinge when she says: "ain't nothing me or anyone else can say that'll be enough to make you believe that. Not even you're detective. But you have to find what it is that makes ya worthy in your own eyes before you lose sight of what you got in front of you for what you think it's gotta be."

The touch surprises him a little, and he can feel - well, something - from her, that is relatable, in a way, and strange, but probably has something to do with their shared marks.

"You may have a point," he admits after a moment, breaking the touch and attempting to lighten the mood with a faint smile. "My therapist would call it 'self-sabotage'."

"Sounds like that's 'bout right." Cause that's what her husband does too. Any time things look like they may be getting better, he does somethin' stupid like add more neon or take something (someone) she cares for as a punishment. "Guess ya better figure on which one's gonna win."

Lucifer smiles faintly. "Well, my money is usually on the Detective. She hasn't given up on me yet, for some reason."

[threshes]

"Sounds like ya should take some of that for yourself. Ain't gotta give the self doubt up, and ya aren't gonna be able to do it anyway. But trust that she loves ya, and that she ain't changing that no matter what you think you do to deserve it."

"That's far easier said than done," Lucifer points out lightly. "Unconditional love doesn't apply to me. Dad made sure I knew that, a long time ago."

"Well, the Detective isn't your Daddy now is he?" Persephone just smiles and adds. "So maybe just follow her lead and let things happen that way. Sounds like she'd tell ya if things were going off course so you can fix em."
