Hello, passengers! Hope you're all ready for an announcement, 'cause Navi's voice is getting beamed into your head right about ... now:

Attention, passengers.
We'll be docking soon at the city of New Ecrillion, on the planet Zegnolia, where we will remain for approximately three weeks, local time.
Please stand by.

From the announcement until landing, to help everyone adjust to the new environment, Navi will gift all passengers with a a faint hummed melody.

Upon docking and disembarking, passengers will find a bank counter just past the terminal, where your new windfall of Navigems can be exchanged for credits (the universal currency). Try not to spend it all in one place!

Now, go get your groove on! Just remember to take breaks to hydrate.

"Ah, well it was a bustling metropolis with a population of nearly 14 million people." Senku responded, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Doesn't exist anymore though, so it's been awhile." He'd be fine, really. "Probably will again someday."

Kaz quirked a curious brow, a hint of confusion visible in his expression. He considered carefully for a moment.

"Probably will again? You expect it to come back?"

"Oh, I'm counting on it." Senku smirked. "I'm working on restoring technology to the point and rescuing people from what is essentially a sleep of sorts as statues. They'll all need places to go, after all, cities will exist again."

He looked thoughtful for a moment, sweeping his gaze out over the crowds, trying to imagine them all turned to statues for a moment. Truthfully, he wasn't sure he completely followed what the other man was saying, but it was a daunting mental image that came to mind.

"A fair point. I suppose the cities would be nothing without the people."

"Who would create the cities if not the people?" Senku asked with a bit of a smile.

"Also that would be the best way to have places for everyone to be, once they're awake. Progress can't be stopped, but with any hope we'll be able to do it sustainably, which is a bit of a difference from how the world used to be."

For a brief moment, Kaz let his mind wander away from the view before him, replacing it with a mental vision of Ketterdam. It was hard to imagine the streets devoid of life, as even in times of plague, there were still the poor bastards that got left out with nowhere to go. He only let his thoughts stray for a moment before tilting his head to glance at Senku again.

Whatever the man was talking about, he'd heard no rumors of it happening at home, and it certainly wasn't happening here as far as he could tell. It was still difficult to adjust to the idea of multiple universes, though.

"Seems like a lot to have on your plate. Do you know what caused it?" Though his rough tone was still flat for the most part, there was a hint of genuine curiosity to be found there.

"I do, actually." Senku said with a smile.

"It's a device that we've found at least, that is far beyond the technology we're familiar with and we know a few things about what it does and how the petrification works, as well as the effects. We know the person or thing that sent it is parked on the moon at the moment." Senku huffed lightly.

"We just have to get up there and get them to stop. They're trying to petrify us again now that they've noticed we're up and moving."

At that, he quirked a curious brow, looking thoughtful for a moment. Most all of the technology surrounding them now was beyond what Kaz was familiar with, and he wondered how people would take it if he got home and tried to inquire around about watching the moon. Whole cities getting petrified would be terrible for business.

"Was all that happening before you got brought onto this ship?"

"Actually, all of that was happening before I landed on the last place I went." Senku snorted lightly.

"This is my second interruption. I was on a train that was passing through what was dubbed a void even though it's not and dumped on different worlds to try and save these places. You can imagine that getting home is a priority for me."

Kaz could easily imagine that it was a priority, and even though he'd only been away from home for mere days, it was already starting to nag at him that he had no easy way home. The idea of being yanked out of his universe and placed into this one was daunting enough, and until now he hadn't even considered the possibility of being interrupted yet again.

It made him wonder what kind of mess he'd find if he did get home. Had he been singled out and plucked into this adventure, or had everything gone belly up and he'd get back only to find everything scattered to the winds? His mouth narrowed into a thin line.

"Well, we have that in common at least. From the sound of it, though, getting home isn't going to be easy." The statement was both an observation, and an invitation for Senku to confirm it.

"I just arrived, but from what I can tell, it definitely won't be." He huffed lightly. "Much like the train had no escape, I'm betting this place also has no escape for the time being." He cracked his knuckles.

"Until we find a way to break it." He was that kind of person.

"Hopefully everything will be alright while you're gone."
