event } it's time to woof and tell!
WHO: All of Navi’s passengers, old and new.
WHAT: Thawing out and spilling beans.
WHERE: Anywhere on Navi.
WHEN: Now until Nov. 12.
WARNINGS: Add these to your comment subject lines as needed! And if you literally die of embarrassment after telling on yourself, please report it on the death page.
WAKEY WAKEY.
Well, passengers, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? Just how long is uncertain, but as you stumble out of your cryopods and back into the waking realm, you’re certain to feel that some amount of time has passed. If asked, Navi isn’t much help in determining the details, but they do sound to be in a remarkably chipper mood. Sounds like someone woke up on the right side of the void of space!
The Navidrones are a little more helpful, at least with respect to practical matters, appearing from wherever it is they store themselves with blankets in tow for those who’ve begun to thaw out. If you want a warm beverage, however, you’ll need to procure that yourself. Luckily, the kitchen is just a quick lift ride up!
WOOF AND TELL.
There’s a stowaway on the ship! Or rather, many stowaways, in the shape of adorable tiny wolflike creatures, and they begin to appear in Navi’s public spaces shortly after passengers return to consciousness. Sometimes they even turn up in not-so-public spaces, like passenger cabins. But surely you don’t mind, right? Look how cute they are! They just want to love you! How can you deny them a good cuddle or play session?
Mind the teeth, though. Even though their bites are playful and don’t cause injury, these pups can certainly cause a different kind of damage …

Senku lifted a hand and poked him in the forehead to accentuate his point.
At the complaint though, he paused and frowned again, only this expression said he was figuring out a puzzle. "What do you mean?"

Another squeak, and then he covered his mouth. The poke to his forehead, that question, it's almost like Senku was teasing him. It helped Gen feel marginally better, actually. If he did figure it out, maybe he could make it stop.
Gen moved his hands away from his face. "For example, just now; I'd meant to say, 'I'm of course incredibly valuable, no-one could survive without me!' Yet that isn't what I said at all, especially since I'm terrible at keeping anyone alive."

"If you die, I'm never sleeping again." Senku informed him. He'd better not.
He frowned at him. "So what are you saying? Are you having some kind of seizure?" Senku asked. "A compulsion issue? Do I need to examine you?"
no subject
"I keep saying I don't want to die and that's the truth, Senku-chan! I assure you of that, that I'll do my best to avoid - any kind of situation like that happening," Gen told him. "Forgive me, my dear - I know you hate this kind of subject. I'm don't want to say these things!"
The answer seemed obvious. "It has to be a compulsion. I hate it, I hate it. It's like I've completely lost control - and I don't know why."
It's the truth, but admitting it aloud just drove it home. Gen started to subtly shake.
