The offer seemed to have been unexpected but Sharon wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. She was pretty adept at adapting to new environments but those environments often were familiar--new city but the same planet. Even if he'd pointed her in the right direction, she knew she'd likely get turned around. Maybe even panic; she's never been this far from home before.
