The knight lets out a demonic howl and lets go of V to clutch at its head, and V feels himself yanked back. The irony of Lady being his saviour isn't lost on him, but he has barely any time to savour the rescue before Nelo Angelo has recovered. It lunges forward and seizes V by the neck, effortlessly yanking him up into the air.
