"Ah, that complicates matters, then you're dealing with radiation and a rather uninhabitable place." Senku said, just thinking about the first problems one would have if nuclear arms went off.

He smiled a bit at the reaction. "It's been quite fascinating. The topography of the world has completely changed...it's even been long enough that Polaris no longer points North." Senku answered. "But without human interference, the damage done by humans in the first place has mostly been eradicated." That part was amazing, he thought.

"I'm not familiar with what you're saying about terminators? But I understand machines. Artificial intelligence?" He guessed. "Potentially sentient, perhaps?"

"Honestly, I don't know what sort of enemy we're dealing with because humanity was turned to stone in one fell swoop, but it persists. We know it's out there. It might be a machine as well."
