Alex is definitely relieved at the fact that Warren didn't have it, but the relief is short lived. If Warren doesn't have the Horn, then it's likely that when he offered Strand all the funding he could ever want, it was a bribe so that he could gets the Mantle under his thumb. Something that she's pretty sure would be a terrible idea and she's really glad that Strand is too pig headed to let it happen. Hopefully. Probably. All of the other things that her and Simon were discussing means that... Well, she doesn't quite know what it might mean but she does know that whatever it is probably wouldn't be great for her.
