Alex just pauses for a moment, because as much as she hasn't wanted to think about it, she's known since it happened that it wasn't something that was merely an idle dream based on things that she'd known from the show. If Alex was back home, she would have been able to do research to see if the names of the people that she remembered from her dreams were really her foster parents at that time. She'd be able to confirm at least that piece of it with the possibility of having evidence, but Simon doesn't need evidence in the same way and honestly at this point, she kind of trusts him over evidence in some cases. This is one of those cases.

Letting out a deep breath, Alex just nods for a second before she drops herself into his chair and pulls her legs up to her chest in it. It's a familiar gesture, but it's one that Alex needs at the moment, because this is a lot, even if she's been suspicious of it for so long. And of course because if there's that piece of it that's true, then there's a good chance about her being right when it comes to the other thing.

Which feels a little bit like a death sentence in some ways, even if she's still alive when Simon is from.
